You have a problem with your health? If so, don’t dilly dally, make a diagnostic of your organism, to fersure that you haven’t mesothelioma and absolutely health. Because, facts of this disease are awful. Mainly, of all people diagnosed with mesothelioma only about 10% will be alive 3 years later and 5% will be alive 5 years later. Nothing is so clear tho, survival depends on some other factors, as well as stage and complication level. The interesting research was done at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, where doctors followed 120 patients with diagnosed many different types of mesothelioma pleural type. There was surgery used on them to remove pleura and lung. Later on there was chemotherapy and radiotherapy used on them, plus some had immunotheraphy and some didnt. On the end 45% patients in this trial were alive 2 years later and 22% were alive 5 years later which is a very good summary. This mean people may still have hope. There was also two more of this kind of studies done, and here is the similar results of them: 1 year after diagnosis average, 24% patients with pleural mesothelioma and 34% with peritoneal mesothelioma were still alive.
